Not from life but from flickr instead of working on what I should be doing (the skateboard design) but I guess it beats doing nothing or whining. No preliminary sketching just brush pen.

I was forced to waste my day yesterday with a lot of waiting and walking but at least I managed some sketches of the people around me.

Here are a few studies of animals I did this evening. No pencil, just straight with a brush pen.

I’m having some more fun hunting for images of morbidly obese people. This particular image seems to be rather well know, or so I’ve been told. Well, I referenced it from a photo on flickr (possibly more engrossing) and drew it with a nib pen, ink wash, screen tone and acrylics.
