Most important annoucement today? Idleware is now officially loving your money. Just navigate to my newly build store and spent some dough on good art (and make me smile in return – the greedy-dollar-sign-smile, of course). More things will be added soon. Look out for artbooks, prints and other cool things.

Other cool things today? Markus and Lea came in and brought this awesome print with them in exchange for some of my artwork. Ever since they made this print I wanted one copy. Oh, did I mention it is a linocut limited to only 20 prints? Nya nya.

Just something that I felt like coloring and stuff. I guess I am basically and still stoked by the party on thursday where some of my friends and me put on a 7 hour rampage of DJ-ing. And yes, that’s what I might look like if you catch me on a party… hehehe.

Yay. Finally got around redesigning this blog and website. This was overdue. Some things are still missing but these will be added in the course of the next fe days.

I also made a little sketch using Preston Blairs Animation Course Book. It is wonderful not only for learning about animation but also to get a good impression of the inking of the old masters. I highly recommend downloading it on the website of the Animation Archive. And while you’re there you might also support them with a few bucks. Scratch a beer from your drinking schedule and donate that!

Here is some more recent stuff for your eyes. First, the website (yes, basically just a wordpress blog) for this years art fair at my art school. Visit www.rundgang2007.de to get a first hand impression. Lastly some doodle pages from my sketchbook. Some of it is NSFW and not suited for minors, so if you might be offended by this don’t look at it. And don’t run around screaming like I didn’t warn you.

Last but not least if you have ever wondered what my working environment loos like. My good friend Alexander Draude took a few neat pictures of our shared studio. The guy in front of me with the white shirt is another good friend named Nils Knoblich. LINK (full set on Draude’s blog).

A little comic strip I made somewhere in between things. It features the iconic character for this years “Rundgang” and a quote of Tino Sehgals performance during the 2005 Vienna Biennial.

Also a sketch I’ve been working on for quite some time now. Didn’t know how to fet around certain issues and only came to a decent solution a few days ago. The first is a still unfinished attempt at digital coloring without any outlines. The second is good old analog inking.
