Well, finally I am getting around to testing my sillycone and wacks. I just turned mad though. Look at how tiny that thing is and I still feel like I haven’t reached the pinnacle of what I can sculpt with this wax. Someone please stop me. More soon.

FYI: size is below an inch in length and about a third of an inch in width.

I got new silicone and I got new resin now I only need to make a small little test object before I start using it for some serious work. This little wax doodle of a maneki neko did not make the cut yesterday evening. My blood sugar levels were so bad yesterday evening (after eating too many cookies in the afternoon) that I could not really concentrate or even sculpt anything moderately precise…

As a little appetizer for the show at rotopol (Kassel, Germany) here is a first look at the prototype toy I am going to present.

Charlize Harlow was the first of a line of self-conscious and autonomous programs developed for stealth information gathering missions. Nearly undetectable through her shape shifting abilities and equipped with multi-dimensional-meta-syntax analysis subroutines made her the state of the art intelligence tool. However, she never returned from her first mission. It has been impossible to determined whether she has been simply hacked and hijacked or if she decided to vanish on her own…

Here is tiny update as well as a little sneak peek of what can be seen at the upcoming “Secret Service” show at Rotopol.

This year the topic of rotopol’s annual group show is Secret Service. This show is the first one of a series of group shows happening next year regarding the uber-topic post-democracy. So if you’re around Kassel/Hessen (home of the Hessian horseman)/Germany between November 21st 2009 and February 2010 check it out!
