In the turmoil of my graduation I completely forgot to post about my participation in the “Heavy Hitterz – Maryland” show @ Art Whino. So, if you’re around there this weekend you should definitely go. The line-up is incredible.

My piece in the show might ring a bell with the regular readers of this blog. It was already shown at the last installation of “Heavy Hitterz” in Manila, Philippines.

Classics has been updated to version 1.1.4 and among the new books is the massive “The Count Of Monte Cristo” by Alexandre Dumas. The cover was painted in ink and colored with Photoshop.

Classics has been updated to version 1.1.3 and now includes Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”. This one is almost entirely painted with acrylics and only needed some minor adjustments in Photoshop.

Today Apple’s iPhone TV commercial “Read” was released. The spotlight features three popular applications for the iPhone and among these is “Classics”. It goes without saying that I am proud to have my cover shown all over the world.

Here are three covers I created for the iPhone eBook reader “Classics“. Unfortunately I am not fortunate enough to afford one of these great gadgets to be able to test the app myself. Still, there is a lot of good word out there (LINK). I am sure it deserves all the praise it gets — and that’s not only because I made three covers for it. Hehehe.

In other news, the exhibition “Night Of The Living Artist” is about to end and if you still haven’t made it to the Chicago Art Department you need to hurry. If you missed it, here is a nice overview but of course it doesn’t do all the great artwork justice. LINK
