I’ve been working on this custom for quite a while and I am not really happy how this turned out. The line work is all crappy and all my friends say that I shouldn’t play with food. I ated it anyways. I gotz egg. ^_^

A few weeks ago I bought one of those silly sexist manga capsule toys that you get about every corner out of a vending machine. I knew it would be fun to customize and not only because of the female shape. He. It’s a nice change to the never ending flood of round and simple western vinyl toys. I thought I’d also go into a different direction as the sculpt suggests and do something that an asian might not do.

Here is one of a series of customs I am going to create of left over Doma Acid Sweeties. All of these will be themed like wise with a bit of vintage circus feeling.

Originally I wanted to create something that looks like a piece of wood with a Bart Simpson face but somewhere on the way it turned out to be not such a great idea and thus I went along the rather cliché road of a tiki-festish-wooden-god-esque look of Bart. In the end I am happy with the result.

One of my best friends, Sebastian Dürer, turned 22 today. The party was of course yesterday so we could celebrate this memorable day as soon as it began. Here is a little 2″ customized labbit that I made for him. This was a completely spontaneous thing and it had to get done fast and thus I wasn’t able to give the über-perfect finish… Btw, the tatoo on the tummy of this little lady is a reference to the DJ Trio “Frau Mit Muskeln” I am active in.
