Suddently art was everywhere. Much to the disapporval of many that earlier had defined what art was and wasn’t supposed to be. Networked societies started to realize that it was in the reach of their own hands to create and distribute and thus subvert the establishments.

Are greed and curiosity only two sides on the same coin? Is progress fuelled by our desire to gain an advantage over one another?

Some of the most important developments in science weren’t an achievement of a single person but instead the work of hive-mind-like networks. Interestingly similar cooperative efforts of many led to most impressive works of art in the new century.
