Originally I wanted to create something that looks like a piece of wood with a Bart Simpson face but somewhere on the way it turned out to be not such a great idea and thus I went along the rather cliché road of a tiki-festish-wooden-god-esque look of Bart. In the end I am happy with the result.

The annual art exhibition here is getting quite close and I am busy like hell trying to get a shop together that sells the work of a lot of students. It is not an easy task but it is always a insightful experience when I try to organize something. Here is a doodle I made today during work. Not much and just a little depiction of my friends and me as the trinity of DJ-ing also called “Frau Mit Muskeln”. Hit the link to myspace.com and befriend us. One of my best friends, Sebastian Dürer, turned 22 today. The party was of course yesterday so we could celebrate this memorable day as soon as it began. Here is a little 2″ customized labbit that I made for him. This was a completely spontaneous thing and it had to get done fast and thus I wasn’t able to give the über-perfect finish… Btw, the tatoo on the tummy of this little lady is a reference to the DJ Trio “Frau Mit Muskeln” I am active in.

I must admit that I read about this before and that I did not take immediately. Something had to happen first before I was affected enough to take action myself. Just yesterday I wanted to view a set of photographs by famous low brow artist COOP only to realize that my access to this particular set had been censored. So, I want to urge everyone who uses flickr, to upload the “think flickr, think!” to their account and copy the quoted text.

In other words that means, that German users can not access photos on flickr that are not flagged “safe” … only flowers and landscapes for the germans …
