Silly colored doodle in between things.

I did a bit of fine tuning on the first card (the “sorry / miss you / sad” one) and colored the remaining. Intially I wanted to go for some text as well but it seems people are able to pick up the emotions of this character well enough to leave it out. This also leaves room for individual interpretations which I happen to like. I am probably going to play around with some more texturing but as far as coloring and lighting goes these are done. Hopefully I can get them printed some time in the coming week.

I am working on these on and off. Here is a preview of one with some color and effects slapped in and the other still in ink. I will let you know when these are available.

I am glad there is something like the weekly sketch club here in Kassel where I can meet up with my friends for chatting, joking and feeding. Oh, and of course it’s a good excuse to produce a few pages of fun and random doodles and sketches. Yesterday was one of those days that was spent with almost no creative output and instead judging a shitload of artwork that will be published in this years catalog of my university’s annual art fair. Fortunately I had said sketch club to look forward to at the end of the day.

I have been to Zürich over the weekend to celebrate my brothers birthday. Didn’t do much else except for some cheap doodles on the train.
