I have a few new sketches that I would show off if I had access to my scanner but since some guys are tearing my part of the university apart I can’t impress anyone except with this recent little thing I made for a good girl friends birthday.

I’m currently working on a lithographic print and although I missed making progression pictures here is a mirrored shot of the stone. So this is what the print will probably look like, more or less.

More fun with blotches of color and the later challenge of trying to figure out what it could be. It’s actually more fun than looking at clouds and guessing what they could resemble.

Coupla sketches and doodles done during work and at home whilst trying to fall asleep.

Here is a custom fingerboard I just finished. I’ve been working on this one on and off and even though it’s not really one of my strongest pieces I like it. Unlike the previous customs this one was completely with acrylics and the board for the packing design is foamboard.

Then some sketches that happened during the course of the evening the first at work and the second whilst jamming with some friends at the “Barracuda Bar”. The first is actually ink on dried pumpkin soup (which the girl I share my flat with cooked a few days earlier – yummy)… I just had to put some of it in my sketchbook – the color being a highly saturated yellowish orange.

I’ve been working on a childrens book for the biggest part of the last half year and now that I got most of it done I’m exhibiting the interior artwork sans text. The 14 digital illustrations and the inked originals can be seen since December 1st at the Stadtcafé (Treppenstrasse 1) here in Kassel. Why don’t you stop on by for a latte macchiato the next time?
